Yes, yes, I forgot. I was too wrapped up in the readathon to remember I was even supposed to write about it. There is no limit to the number of characters you can have for the readathon, so I have two now:

Name: Aurin Beileth
Pronouns: He/They
Province: Darkmeadow
Heritage: Iltirian
Brief Bio: Aurin grew up mostly on his own on the surface of Darkmeadow, tucked into a small swamp-like area. Abandoned by his parents at a young age, he learned to fend for himself. He discovered an entrance into Darkmeadow's Great Library and spent many nights sneaking in and reading whatever he could get his hands on. During these midnight excursions he discovered a natural aptitude for magic and has decided to attend, or at least attempt to attend, the Orilium Academy to better his knowledge and skill. Slow to trust, he is expecting this journey to be long and difficult.

And then there is:

Name: Irwyn Gaerotan
Pronouns: He/Him
Province: Darkmeadow
Heritage: Iltirian
Brief Bio: Raised in the library. Worked there as a guard. Slightly younger than Aurin, but looks much older. He has a younger sister who left on the journey with him that he has lost track of and is looking for. Eventual love interest of Aurin. Irwyn is very protective of those he considers to be his friends or family, willing to risk life and limb to protect them. Though he did spend most of his life in the Great Library. He is looking forward to taking the Novice Path and eventually attending the Orilium Academy in the spring.

So far I'm doing absolutely terribly. I should be much further now than I am. I'm going to try to participate as much as possible in the 24-hour readathon from 13:00 on Sept. 18th to 13:00 on Sept. 19. Good thing it's a weekend and I have the weekends off from work. I'll throw on one of the 33-35 hour instrumental music videos on YouTube and then just read until my eyes hurt. I should be rounding out book 10 today, not book 4....ah well.

We'll see how far I can get in the books! Then in each new week, I'll scratch off what I am done with. For now though, I bid you farewell, and luck if you are participating in the Orilium: Novice Path. May the winds blow in your favor!
